Get Ready for a Wager on the American Superbowl

Thursday January 22, 2015

Even if you don’t know the rules, you’ll be very familiar with the American Superbowl. It is one of those sporting events everyone has heard of, even if they have no idea how it is played!

The major game is set to take place on 1st February 2015 in Glendale, Arizona. This will be held at the University of Phoenix Stadium and will no doubt bring in plenty of television viewers across America, and maybe even further afield too. America is known for its love of this event, which regularly draws in millions of viewers across the country. The event also has a famous half-time show which often features famous acts, not to mention those who have headlined the event before the game itself begins.

The two teams going head-to-head this year are the New England Patriots and the Seattle Seahawks. The winner will take the title of the National Football League Champion for 2014 (the game is to decide the winner of that season, which began in 2014).

The teams are seeded to reflect the odds of them reaching a certain stage in the competition. The Seattle Seahawks won the Super Bowl last year so to reach the final again is a great achievement for them. It was also their third time in the final and as winners they know what is expected of them. Will they win again this year?

In contrast the New England Patriots were the runners-up the last time they had a role to play in the Super Bowl final match. This was back in 2012, although this was their seventh appearance in the Super Bowl final. This year makes it eight, and they too know what it is like to appear as the winning team. They won it back in 2004 and the subsequent year as well.

So which team do you think will win the final match this year? Will it go to the New England Patriots or will the Seattle Seahawks steal their thunder and make it two years in a row? Whatever you think might happen, don’t forget to place your bet on the likely outcome – you never know you might get lucky and win some cash as a result.
